We had a 1 night stay here during our "villa Blanca" excursion. On arrival at the hotel we were met with a welcome drink and a cool towel. A very quick check in and then we went straight to our room for a nice shower and change . We ventured up to the roof terrace (no lifts) and enjoyed a pre dinner drink, wonderful views across Gibrara and live Cuban music...perfect!
Dinner was served at 7pm. And was delicious . 4 courses comprising of soup, salad, a choice of pork, chicken or fish,& ice cream. All served by very friendly staff. As part of our excursion we then went to the local nightclub for an entry fee of 1 peso! Again very enjoyable entertainment! The whole village of Gibrara is very friendly, especially the lady who lives directly opposite the hotel who gave all the ladies a flower and of course joined us for a mojito and a dance in the nightclub!
Breakfast was served from 7.00 a.m till 9.00 am. Again very good, choice of eggs, toast, cereal, juice etc.
I was shown around different rooms and suites of the hotel and told of the history and love story relating to it.
There was a hairdryer, toiletries, and flat screen TV in the room. Everything was immaculate.
We were also given a very delicious lunch, again 4 courses.
All the staff appear to be very proud to be working at the newly renovated hotel. I wish it every success and if you get the chance to go it is well worth it. Especially if you can incorporate it on the Villa Blance excursion.

We absolutely loved Gibara and especially your beautiful website. Seeing these photos and learning about the hotel's history on your " unfinished" website made us us really want to visit.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Hotel Ordono. Food was very good; staff truly wonderful and the hotel itself spectacular.
Gibara is small und quaint, easy to walk around without feeling uneasy, lost or hassled....Enjoy!
